PEPPERS
What is it?
We grow a couple varieties of sweet bell peppers. Watch the video to learn how to pick it! All bell peppers start green, then turn red, orange, or yellow later in the season. Bell peppers are fruits that hang on the plants. Look for the largest peppers and use scissors to gently snip the stem free from the plant.
Bell peppers are super high in vitamin C and antioxidants! You will find garden grown bell peppers have a lot more flavor than those you buy at the grocery store.
How do I clean and store it?
All you need to do is rinse your bells in cool clean water and you’re good to go! Store them in the fridge in a reusable bag or container with a lid.
How do I cook it?
Bell peppers are great raw or cooked!
